A unique day out

Pakenham water mill is a perfect place for visitors of all ages. Set in unspoilt countryside yet easily accessible by car it offers a fascinating insight to the rural industry of days gone by together with a relaxed enjoyment of it's lovely natural surroundings.

Entry to the mill can include a guided tour by one of our experienced guides and on certain days you can even see milling* in action and bread being baked in the traditional ovens of our restored kitchen. Throughout the year we have an exciting range of events and activities for all ages.

We have well-stocked gift shop where you can buy souvenirs and of course a bag or two of our own milled flour to use in your baking at home!

Our tea room is open serving a delicious selection of teas, coffee, light lunches and delicious home baked cakes.

We have ample free car parking and toilet facilities.  Please contact us for information on accessibility for disabled visitors
